Alvin & The Chipmunks

My daugher is a huge fan of the Imagination Movers. So I decided to take her today to buy an Imagination Movers DVD. I was extremely disappointed after looking and looking and never finding one!

As we were about to leave the electronics department of Walmart she spotted Alvin & The Chipmuks and started going crazy over it. So I bought it for her.

As soon as we walked back into the house she was very persistant in the fact that we were watching it immediately. We are now watching it for the 2 time today!
My son has even jumped on the wagon with her and has been sitting in the living room watching parts of it as well. He even bobs up and down to the music!

I guess Alvin & The Chipmunks was a GREAT choice!

Icky Sicky In My House Again

My little man has had such a rough winter! He is following in the same pattern as all the other men in our family, prone to ear infections. I do not understand it, EVERY man in our family suffered horrible from ear infections when they were little.

Nicholas is being a little trooper though! He still plays hard all day long and is still a very happy baby!

Where Did My Little Girl Go??

In 2 1/2 weeks my little girl will be turning 16. WHERE DID MY BRITT BRATT GO?? It only seems like yesterday they handed her to me in the hospital and then came home with her for the first time. I cannot believe it has been 16 years.

Anyways, I have been busy planning her Sweet Sixteen party for the past couple of weeks and have finally got everything wrapped up! I am taking her and 4 of her friends to the beach for the weekend. She is soooo excited about it.

Brittany and Alexis Showing Some Love

Brittany and Alexis love spending time together. Even though Brittany claims that Alexis drives her crazy sometimes, I believe she secretly loves every second of it!

And Alexis LOVES spending time with her sissy!

Leave It To Sarah

Ok, I was a little curious when I saw a title of What the ??!!??!! on her blog so being the nosy person I am, I had to check it out!

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine something like this! There is no way in this world I would buy one of these kits!

Playtime with Nana

The day of the snow we spent most of our time at my mothers. Here are a couple pictures of Nana, Alexis and Nicholas. They had a great time playing together.

Snow Day

OK, I know I have been slack! I have had these pictures on my computer for a week now and I am just getting around to posting them. But, better late than never!

Anyways, Alexis had a blast playing in the snow. This is the first year that she has really been old enough to truly enjoy the snow.

Lots of Changes Going On

It has been a while since I last posted because I have been working on another website (one geared more towards making money so I do not have to cross with the family stuff) and I have been BUSY BUSY BUSY working in the house! For those of you who did not already read my prior posts in December, Brittany, my oldest, drove my car thru our garage. Which we had already planned to close in and make a bedroom for her once we got our tax return back, this just sped up the pace a little.

We finally got all the painting done (which was not much fun since we have 10 foot ceilings in our house) and got the carpet installed so we moved her in last Wednesday!

With that project done, we were on to our next project - - making her old room the little ones new room. My mother and I spent a day and a half painting their room and then another half day moving their furniture in and setting it up.

I was soooo happy to finally have my room and closet kid free! We have had a crib and changing table in the master suite for over 2 years now waiting to get the garage closed in so this was a huge accomplishment for our house. So I decided to change my room up a little with a new comforter set, new curtains and a new glider in my room.

Above are some pictures of the finished projects. Now I am off to start on the bathroom and laundry room!
